The Fixes tab
naia proposes a correction only for products the measurement supports: those that showed up little or in a weak position in the showcase, or those in a category your active prompts cover that did not show up. A product in a category no active prompt asks about is left out, because it was not measured. For each one, naia compares the showcase with the product data in the store and proposes the field to change: title, description, GTIN, brand, store category or missing attributes. The tab requires the store to be connected, because the proposals read the product data. After the next round that measures the product, naia shows the visibility from before and from after. The new title only adds: it keeps every word of the current title, in the same order, and comes in with at least one term already in your product data (or the store brand, when the title does not mention it), without repeating another product's title. A proposal that only reorders, drops a word, loses a color, invents an attribute or cuts a measurement is discarded before it appears. The description follows the same rule: it only adds, so a proposal that removes or rewrites any sentence of the current text, such as usage and occasion phrases, is discarded. A product that ChatGPT already names in the text of the answer gets no title proposal, because it does show up, just not as a showcase card. Generating the proposals costs no credits: the cost is naia's, with at most 10 proposals per round, and the tab shows how many groups of variations were eligible, in the categories your active prompts ask about. Nothing is changed in the store without you asking and confirming.
What you can do
- See what to change in the data of each product, with the reason.
- Copy the proposal or download the supplemental feed and the spreadsheet.
- Apply to the Shopify store, with preview and confirmation, when the account allows it.
- Check whether the fix changed the product's visibility.

Which fixes does Shopping propose for my products?
Step by step
Step 1: Read the three numbers at the top
Products with a correction is how many products have an open or applied proposal. Fixed and measured is how many already had the before and after measured. Measured gain shows the biggest visibility improvement in points and from which product, from how much to how much, or says waiting for the next round when there is an applied fix with no new measurement yet. Without a connected store, the tab shows Connect your store to see what to change in your products, with the Connect store button.
What you can do
- Know how much was already fixed and measured.
- Connect the store when the tab is still empty.
Step 2: Open a product
Each row is a product of yours, with the reason: Your prompts of a topic cover this category and the product did not show up in the showcase (Does not show up tag) or Shows up in N% of showcases (Shows up little tag). After it is applied, the row shows Fixed on and the date. Click the row to open the fields. With no open correction, the tab says “No title adjustment with a verifiable gain in this round”, with the rule in the info icon: only terms that are already in your product data and that your prompts use come in. The reason of each title names the added term.
What you can do
- See why the product made the list.
- Open the first pending fix first.
Step 3: Compare Today and Proposal
Each field to fix brings the Today column, with what is in the product data, and the Proposal column, with the suggested value and the reason. The possible fields are Title, Description, GTIN, Brand, Store category and Missing attributes. The In the file tag marks what came from the feed that was read, and Only you have it marks what only your store knows, such as the GTIN: naia does not make that code up, it just asks you to fill it in on your side. Long texts have See all and See less, and each field has Copy.
What you can do
- Understand why each field would change.
- Copy the proposed value of a field.
Step 4: Choose how to apply
Copy takes the proposed value of each field, with the field name when there is more than one, to the clipboard and marks the fix as applied: you paste it in the store panel and naia measures the before and after in the next round. Dismiss removes the fix from the list. Apply to store only shows when direct publishing is available: the account needs the plan with the Catalog, the Shopify store must be linked in the Catalog and direct publishing must be enabled. Outside that, Copy and the downloads remain. If the Catalog already has an approved version for the product, naia warns you and asks you to review it there first, so it does not overwrite a decision of yours.
What you can do
- Copy the fix to apply by hand in the store panel (this marks it as applied).
- Dismiss a fix that makes no sense.
- Apply to the store, when the button is available.
Step 5: Download the supplemental feed or the spreadsheet
Supplemental feed downloads the pending proposals in XML, to send to Google Merchant Center as a complementary feed without touching the original data. Spreadsheet downloads the same proposals in CSV, for those who prefer to review and import into the store platform. Both only show when there is a pending proposal.
What you can do
- Apply many fixes at once through the feed.
- Review the proposals in a spreadsheet with the team.
Step 6: Check the preview and publish
Apply to store does not publish right away: it opens the Publishing preview on your Shopify store, with In the store today and Will become, and says nothing has been published yet. The preview is valid for a few minutes and warns you if the store changed the field after the proposal (conflict), if the store already has that text or if the product is not linked to a store product. Only Publish to store writes the change; Cancel discards it. Direct publishing writes only Title, Description and the search fields (Search title and Search description, which follow the product); product type and tags never go out this way. GTIN, brand, category and attributes are for you to fill in on the store.
What you can do
- See the exact before and after before publishing.
- Cancel without changing anything in the store.
- Create a new preview if the previous one expired.
Step 7: Follow the before and after
After it is applied, either through Apply to store or Copy, the fix shows Fixed on and the date, and waits for the next round that measures the product. Then the product's visibility shows from before to after. The number is honest: if the product data did not change since the proposal, naia says the change is not from the correction, and with no earlier measurement it says there is nothing to compare.
What you can do
- Know whether a fix worked.
- Avoid crediting the fix with a change that came from another cause.
