The Stores tab
Each showcase product has one or more offers, each from a store. The Stores tab shows where ChatGPT sends the shopper. It answers two questions: which stores get the sale and, inside each one, how much of the showcase is your brand's. A store is not a manufacturer: a store that sells your product is not your brand. The numbers are from the last round, with the change against the previous one, and follow the topic and the window chosen in the filters. Opening the tab costs no credits.
What you can do
- Find out in which stores ChatGPT shows your products.
- See how much of the offers of your products lead to your website.
- Find the big stores where your brand weighs little.
Ask the chat
In which stores do my products show up in the ChatGPT showcase and where do I lose to competitors?
Step by step
Step 1: Choose the window and the topic
The filters at the top apply to all five tabs. Last round shows the most recent measurement with the change against the previous one. Last 5 rounds adds up the answers of the five latest, which reduces noise when there are few showcases. The Topic filter narrows the reading to one shopping subject.
What you can do
- Read the latest measurement or the sum of the last five.
- See the stores of a specific topic.
Step 2: Open the Stores tab
Stores is the second tab. When the round has fewer than 5 showcases, the few-showcases alert shows above the tabs, with Review prompts and See which opened: with so few showcases the percentages swing a lot, and the change against the previous round becomes “Change within the swing”.
What you can do
- Go from the Brands tab to the stores with one click.
- Follow the alert to review the prompts when there is little showcase.
Step 3: Start with the opening sentence
The tab opens with a sentence that sums up the essentials. It says that none of your products showed up in the showcase offers, that all the offers of your products lead to your website, or how much of their offers lead to other stores and on which store another brand has more products in the showcase than you.
What you can do
- Understand the result before looking at the numbers.
- Know which store to go after first.
Step 4: Read the three indicators
Different stores is how many stores show up in the offers. Your store shows your place among them and the share of offers (or says your store did not show up). Your offers on your website is the share of the offers of your products that leads to your own address. Each number brings the change against the previous round.
What you can do
- Measure whether ChatGPT sends the shopper to your website.
- Follow the change of your place among the stores.
Step 5: See Who gets the sale
The donut and the list show the share of each store: the store's offers over all the offers shown in the showcases. It is where ChatGPT sends the shopper. Your store shows in ink, with the Yours tag. The seven biggest stores show separately and the rest add up to Other stores. If no store offer shows up in the window, the block says so.
What you can do
- See which stores concentrate the offers.
- Find your store in the list, even outside the first places.
Step 6: Check Your brand inside each store
The table shows, for each store, the Store share, the Brand that shows up most in it with the percentage, and Your share: the distinct products of your brand over the distinct products of the store. The Strong tag marks 30% or more, and Weak marks less than 10%. A big store with a small share of yours is traffic going to the competitor. Click the row to open the bar with all the brands of the store and the legend.
What you can do
- Find big stores where your brand barely shows up.
- Open a store to see the share of each brand.
