The Brands tab
Brands is the first result tab and answers the central question: when ChatGPT opens the shopping showcase, does your brand show up? The numbers come from the last measurement round, with the change against the previous round. Before reading any other number, look at the Showcase rate: if the round had fewer than 5 showcases, the page shows the "Too few showcases to conclude anything" alert and the Review prompts shortcut, because there is little to measure. For the same reason, the change against the previous round only shows when both rounds have 5 showcases or more; with fewer, the screen says "Change within the swing", because ChatGPT varies between runs and the difference can be noise. The brands compared are the ones in the competitor league set up in the Autopilot; the others show up together as Other brands. Opening the tab costs no credits.
What you can do
- See whether your brand shows up in the showcase and in which place of the showcase.
- Compare your brand with the competitors in the league.
- Follow the change round after round.
- Find the topics you defend and the ones that are an opportunity.

Summarize my last Shopping measurement: visibility, position and where I am overtaken
Step by step
Step 1: Choose the window and the topic
The filters sit at the top and apply to every tab. The window is Last round or Last 5 rounds, which adds up the answers of the five latest measurements. The Topic filter narrows everything to one shopping subject, or shows All topics. The ChatGPT · Brazil chip shows the engine and the country of the measurement, which is the country set for the brand; in the first version only ChatGPT is measured.
What you can do
- Compare the last round with the sum of the last five.
- Isolate one shopping topic.
Step 2: Switch tabs
The tab strip has Brands, Stores, Products, Prompts and Fixes. The open tab stays in the page address, so you can copy the link for the team. Brands, Stores and Prompts show the few-showcases alert when the round has fewer than 5 showcases; Products and Fixes do not depend on it.
What you can do
- Go from one subject to another without losing the filters.
- Share the link of the open tab.
Step 3: Read the Showcase rate, Visibility and Average position
Showcase rate is the share of questions in which ChatGPT showed products (for example, 17 of 50 questions). Read this number first. Visibility is, among the showcases that opened, how many showed at least one product of your brand; questions without a showcase are left out, and the note shows the base. Average position is the average place of your best product in the showcases where it appears: lower is better. Each indicator shows the change against the previous round, and the information icon explains the math.
What you can do
- Know whether there is enough showcase to trust the numbers.
- See the change against the previous round.
Step 4: Follow the Change by round
Each point of the chart is a measurement, manual or scheduled, and the series shows up to 12 rounds. The trend shows up from the second round on. To get the series without having to remember, keep the schedule on in the Prompts and schedule drawer.
What you can do
- See whether visibility goes up after a fix.
- Notice swings between rounds.
Step 5: Compare in the Brand ranking
The ranking orders the brands by visibility in the showcase. The brands in your brand's competitor league are included, and yours carries the Yours tag, even when outside the first places. Brands outside the league are grouped as Other brands and do not compete for a place. Each row shows the visibility and the change in points against the previous round. When no brand shows up in the showcase of the chosen window, the block says so instead of showing an empty ranking.
What you can do
- See who takes the showcase in your place.
- Understand why a well-known brand is not on the list.
Step 6: See Where you show up
When a product of yours shows up, the block shows the position frequency: 1st card, 2nd card, 3rd card and 4th or later. The first card draws most of the attention, so being 1st is worth more, even with fewer appearances. With none of your products in the showcase, the block says that none of your products showed up in this window.
What you can do
- Measure whether you show up at the start of the showcase.
- Compare the position between rounds.
Step 7: Check whether the brand is Cited in the text
Many answers do not open a showcase. In those, what counts is the brand name showing up in the text. The block shows the share of answers that cite the brand and how many questions had No showcase and no citation, that is, where you do not exist for the person asking.
What you can do
- Measure the brand's presence outside the showcase.
- Find the questions where the brand does not exist.
Step 8: Use Brands by topic to decide
The table shows, for each shopping topic, your place and your visibility (or out) and the four most visible brands, from 1st to 4th place. With no competitor identified in the topic, the place and the brands of the first places do not appear and the column shows No comparison, because on its own your brand does not take 1st place; a topic with no showcase at all shows no data. The Status column marks Defend where you lead and Opportunity where you are out or from 4th place on. This is where the plan comes from: defend what is already yours and go after the opportunity topics with better content and product data.
What you can do
- Choose where to invest first.
- Open the prompts of a topic in the Prompts tab.
